Dr David Kieser
Dr. David Kieser is an orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. After completing his medical and specialist training in New Zealand, Dr. Kieser pursued advanced sub-specialty training in France and England. He then returned to Christchurch to establish his private practice, where he specialises in spine, hip, and knee conditions, including complex surgeries such as cervical and lumbar disc replacement.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kieser assists with various high-level sporting teams, offering his expertise to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal issues.
Committed to advancing orthopaedic care, Dr. Kieser is heavily involved in research and collaborates with both national and international experts. His contributions to medical research are reflected in numerous publications and presentations, and his work has been recognised with several awards.

David Kieser
David was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to New Zealand as a teenager. He has spent many years establishing himself as a top orthopaedic specialist, and he is proud to serve the Canterbury community. He lives with his wife and four daughters.
Alexandra Berg
Lex is a qualified physiotherapist who grew up in New York state. She moved to New Zealand in 2011, where she worked in Christchurch Public Hospital as an orthopaedic secretary. She is a competitive equestrian and avid reader, and currently lives in North Canterbury with her husband and two children.
Tracey Nicholas
Tracey has years of experience in the financial industry, and the expertise she brings to Kieser Surgical is invaluable. She is passionate about the business, and assists Dr. Kieser in his other ventures as well. She also lives in North Canterbury and owns a horse breeding facility.
